Frank "Deedy"'s Obituary

Frank P. BenincasaFrank "Deedy" Paul Benincasa, age 77, of Bethel, CT died unexpectedly at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2010. He was the husband of Patricia Benincasa.Frank was born in Norwalk, CT. October 25, 1933 a son of the late Carmine and Mary Benincasa. He served in the US army and had lived in Norwalk and Ridgefield before moving to Bethel in 1978. He worked as a Printer most of his life for the Norwalk Hour and Ridgefield Press and later worked as a Real Estate Agent. He was an avid cook and loved to cook for everyone. Deedy was a beloved husband, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Christopher Benincasa of Plainfield, CT, Steven Benincasa of Buxton, ME; 2 daughters: Dawn Browning and her husband Mike of Clemmons, NC, Debbie Studwell and her husband Richard of Bethel, CT; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.Memorial donations may be made to the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06801.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Bethel, Monday morning at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel. The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood A
