Dear Brianna, the whole Esslinger and Smith family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Chad and I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I know how difficult this must be for you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will miss Chad. I encourage you to draw on your strength and the strength of your family. He was such a kind and gentle soul. He was a devoted husband, son, brother and Marine. It was such an honor to have welcomed Chad to our family. It may have only been for a short time but he will be with us forever. He is now a guardian angel looking over us. Please accept my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. May God bless you and your family during this time and always.

I didn't know you personally, but heard so many great things about you. You're a hero to so many people, most importantly Brianna. She loved you and never stopped talking about you. Stay strong, Brianna and all family and friends.
