Yvonne Marie Bardell

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Yvonne Marie "Bonnie" Bardell, age 73 of Springfield and formerly of the Westfield and Charleston areas, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at The Villa Health Care East in Sherman, Illinois.  Cremation Rites will be accorded and Graveside Services for the family and Inurnment will be held at a later date in Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston.  There will be no public Visitation or Services.  It is requested that memorial gifts in her honor be made to the American Lung Association.  The family is being assisted by Adams Funeral Chapel.Bonnie, as she was affectionately known, was born on July 24, 1938 in Paris, Illinois a daughter of the late Homer and Alice (Wilson) Wilhoit.  She is survived by her children, Christine L. Dees of Springfield and Jay T. Bardell and wife Yvette of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren, David Preston Dunning and Nicholas Dunning of Charleston, Rachel Adam and John Dees of Springfield, Tasha, Trent and Zachary Bardell of Colorado Springs; a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Dunning of Charleston; two sisters, Carol Rardin and Brenda Justice of Kansas.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Y. Dunning.
