Not sure what to say?

To Mildred and family: I was so sorry to read of Harry's death. Your more than sixty years as an inseparable couple will give you so many wonderful memories to draw on in the difficult months ahead. You have my deepest sympathy. With love,

Mildred,
So sorry to read of Harry's passing. I'll never forget him being in Oilfield and the pleasant smile and voice he had. My prayers are with all of your family at this time. I will return to Il in April. Sorry, I can't attend the service. God bless you. Love, Ruth Ann Beasley

Mrs. Read, Harry and I shared some wonderful joke-telling times when we both worked at the Courier, me as the high-school page editor and mailroom assistant and he as editor. He especially liked the stories that were puns and other play on words, always keeping me on my toes. I know you'll miss him dearly.
