Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Heard family during this difficult time. Mickey was a GREAT man who always had a smile on his face and we are blessed for having had the chance to get to know him.

I cant believe your gone, you left so soon and I didnt get a chance to tell you I love you. I know your in no pain and your with our mama in a better place. I bet you two are walking side by side smiling so hard and watching over us. Take care of our mama and I will see yall again someday!!!! In Loving Memory Of My Big Brother, Mickey Lee Heard....You will be missed by so many and always remember that me, Bailey, Landon and Briannah love you so much!!!!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mickey. I have known him all my life he was a good man an a even better friend I will truely miss him.

Mickey's Obituary

Mr. Mickey Lee Heard, age 36, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012. Mr. Heard was born in Carroll County on August 19, 1975. He was the son of Billy Wayne Heard and the late Betty Pruitt Heard. Survivors include two sons, Ryan and Andrew; father, Billy Wayne Heard of Bremen; one sister, Melissa Heard of Bowdon Junction; one half-sister, Reba Shell of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Michael Heard of Tallapoosa and Mitchell Heard of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives.Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Lemmings officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
