I just found out about the death of Mama Midge, I am so saddened to hear this news. My families deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time. Mildred "Midge"'s Obituaries
Watson, Mildred "Midge", 82 of Dade City, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her home in Dade City. She was born May 17, 1930 in Fulton, MI to William Alfred & Ora Odell Barber Nichols and moved to this area 55 years ago from Memphis, TN. She retired from Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City after 35 years of service to her friends and her community. She is survived by her son Nick Watson (Rita), her son, Mike Watson (Marie Gilroy); her daughter: Cindy Watson; grandchildren: Alicia Thompson, Madison Watson; great grandchildren: Will & Lucy Thompson; and her companion: Ted Ashmore. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lamar Watson. Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, February 4, 2013 at Calvary Assembly of God in Dade City. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends for viewing from 4-7pm Saturday evening (February 2, 2013) at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to HPH Hospice.
