Still hard to wrap my mind around this! The bower family is in my thoughts and prayers! Such a great life cut to short.

David's Obituary

CHARLESTON, IL – David JuniusBower passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the age of25.  The Funeral Mass will be held at Noonon Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located atTenth & Jefferson Streets in Charleston with Father John Tituspresiding.   Visitation for family andfriends will also be held Monday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. untilNoon.  Following the Funeral Mass David'searthly body will be cremated.  David's familyhas requested that memorial gifts in his honor be made to the Charleston HighSchool Soccer Program.  Gifts may be lefton the memorial table at the Visitation or Mass or mailed to Adams FuneralChapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, IL 61920. 

David was born August 24, 1987in St. Paul, Minnesota, lived also in Ohio and New Mexico, and was currentlyresiding in Charleston.  He was a 2006graduate of Charleston High School and a proud member of the CHS soccer team,playing a sport he dearly loved.  Davidwas a former student at Eastern Illinois University and a member of St. CharlesBorromeo Catholic Church.  He loved musicand movies, reading non-fiction, and sharing time and conversations with familyand friends. 

David leaves his parents, Kenand Kathy Bower of Charleston; brothers and sisters, Kenny, Lisa, Patrick,Dick, Joe, Steve, Chris, Robert and Leeanne; grandparents, Ed and Nancy Bowerof Mesa, Arizona and Agnes Roman of Akron, Ohio; and numerous uncles and aunts,especially Diane Bower, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather,Joseph Roman. 

David was a sweet andsensitive young man and will be dearly missed by those who knew him well.
