I was saddened to learn about Tracy. I worked with Tracy at the theatres in Charleston and Mattoon. We always had fun when we worked together and would sometimes play cards. Tracy was a wonderful person to know.

Sorry to hear about Tracy. She worked for me for many years at the theaters in Charleston & Mattoon. Tracy was kind & hard working. My sympathy & prayers to her sister & family.

Tracy's Obituary

CHARLESTON, IL – Tracy LaneTresner, age 58 of Charleston, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April23, 2013.   A Memorial Graveside Servicecelebrating her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at RoselawnCemetery with Pastor Jerry Sweeney officiating. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, thoughtful donations in herhonor be made to the Coles County Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 592,Charleston, IL  61920.  Arrangements have been entrusted to AdamsFuneral Chapel in Charleston. 

Tracy was born on February28, 1955 in Coles County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Sydney and MaryDean (Pearcy) Tresner.  She is survivedby her sister Trudy Edwards of Gainesville, FL; two nephews, Kerry (Nancy)Edwards of Sterling Heights, MI and Kent (Julie) Edwards of Homosassa, FL;three nieces, Randy Bergadine and Marcy Hoopaugh, both of Gainesville andLaurie (Wayne) Hoopaugh of Micanopy, FL; 15 grand nieces and nephews and 4great grand nieces and nephews.  Inaddition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, RobertRalph Edwards.  

Tracy was a life-longresident of Charleston and worked for many years as a dispatcher for theCharleston Police Department and then later for 911 of Coles County.  She was actively involved in the genealogyorganizations for both Coles and Edgar Counties, providing a great service toits members.
