Not sure what to say?

Lucille and Carl,

So very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I was glad my sister Sherie was there to represent our family. Bea was a great friend to my mother Barbara. I have many memories of Bea and her donuts! Fond memories of sleep overs at your house!
Fondly,
Karen (Young) Nickerson

Dear Carl and Lucille,

I was very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have many wonderful memories of our growing up together.

To the family of Bea Ozzella,
We are deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Albert Alley Sr loved having her company sitting and watching the traffic at the Plant Home. When we visited them, Albert Jr would quiz her to try to find out geneology information to see if she and Albert were related both having roots in Jonesport/Beals Island. We never did establish if there was a relationship. Bea was a very kind person and we loved visiting with her as well as Albert Sr when we were in town.

With much love.

Beatrice's Obituaries

Kennebunk - Beatrice Lucille Ozzella, 93, born in Jonesport, ME October 15, 1919 was called away by the Lord June 19, 2013.She moved to Bath, ME with her husband Frank and young son Carl in the mid 1940's. Bookkeeping for the family automobile business and lovingly caring for her family kept her busy. She had been an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, encouraging her son Carl and daughter Lucille to love God and the natural beauty around them.Outside of playing bridge, waltzing, the delicacy of fried donuts and molasses cookies, she courageously learned to swim and hunt in her adult years. She was a fantastic cook and one of her specialties was sliced pumpkin pies with a recipe passed down by her mother Carrie Marcia Faulkingham Johnson Crowley.Beatrice lived in Brunswick for many years before moving to the Plant Home in Bath. She held special memories of lighthouses in the Bath area and visits to Peak's Island. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans, spending time at Damariscotta Lake, playing bingo and cards with the kids. Her friends and family describe her as witty, spunky, loving, a good cook and great mother. What pleased her most was the unconditional love of her grandchildren Lisa & Dale Tucker, the late Carl Frank Ozzella, Martha & Jack Rodriguez, Kaylyn Palella, Lysanne & Dylan Maniquis and great-grandchildren JC Leeman, Madison, Andrew & Jackson Rodriguez who all lovingly called her "Nana Bea".She was pre-deceased by her father Lafayette Leroy Johnson, mother Marcia, step-mother Hannah Paine, brother Carl Johnson, sister Vanetta Rousseau, and grandson Carl Frank Ozzella.Beatrice leaves behind her son, Carl P. Ozzella and his wife Judith of Bath and a daughter, Lucille M. Palella and her husband Frank of Somersworth, NH. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 27th from 11:00 – 12:00pm at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home.
