At our 50th reunion, I found out about Carson's passing. I hadn't seen him since 1970 but wanted his family to know that we ate lunch together almost every day in the "Senior" cafeteria. He made my high school days better just by being a great guy.

Driggs Jr., B. Carson, of Hanover, Va, passed away July 21, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carson Sr. and Delphia Driggs. He is survived by his loving wife, Candice Driggs; children, Jim (Crystal), Rachel, Margaret, and Meredith; grandson, Brayden; brother, Mike of Maryland; and many loving family and friends. Carson was a '76 graduate of Randolph-Macon College and worked for Honeywell for 23 years. He was the owner and President of Hanover Environmental. A celebration of Carson's life will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. Carson was active in many charitable organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carson's name to the charity of your choice.
