Thomas R. Lang

Thomas R. LangEden Mills- Thomas R. Lang, 62, died in a tragic fire on January 3, 2015, in Eden Mills, VT. He was born in Bennington, VT, the son of the late Thomas I. and Ruth Jewett Lang. Thomas grew up in Connecticut and worked for many years as a railroad conductor for MetroNorth, Conrail and Amtrak, mostly between Connecticut and New York City. He became an enthusiastic skier and built a home in Elmore to use while skiing, Saying that he felt more at home in Vermont Thomas returned permanently in 2002 and lived in various towns in Lamoille County. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Lang, of Johnson, VT, one aunt, one uncle and numerous cousins, including the Rev. Patricia Jewett Thompson of Morrisville. A summer committal service will be held in Ripton, VT, at the convenience of the family. Faith Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
