To the Family of Jan Woodard, the members of the Underhill-Jericho Fire Department send to you their deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Jan was voted an Honorary Member of the UJFD in 1993 after serving many years as a First Responder while a member of Essex Rescue at our emergencies. Be it middle of the night or middle of the day, if Jan was home during a call, she would respond in the event we needed her help. We love you, Jan, may you rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Woodard's passing. I can still remember catching fireflies as a kid in her fields in Essex. She will be missed by all.

Mom, there are no words that could possibly express how much I miss you. You were such a special, loving, caring and strong lady, and you gave so much to your family that could never be repaid. You will forever be an inspiration to all of us, and will be in our hearts forever. I love you, and I am so proud to be your daughter. Thank you for being our Mom, give Tom a hug from us, and rest in peace.
