My grandma was always there for me . I miss her alot. I would do anything but to see her. I have a depression disorder, because I miss her but i can't do anything about it. I just hope shes having a great time with my grandpa long and my brother. I love and miss you grandma.

Mary Lou Long, 78 of Sorento passed away at 10:01 PM on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Greenville Regional Hospital.She was born at Bond County, IL on April 25, 1937 the daughter of Richard and Mildred (Kahl) Loew. She married Wayne W. Long on January 22, 1955 at Staunton; he preceded her in death on November 27, 2006 along with her parents, Grandson, David Wayne Long and 1 Great Grandchild.Mary Lou worked for the State of Illinois for more than 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of Sorento Presbyterian Church.Survivors include: Daughters, Pamela Ellington of Sorento, IL and Clara (husband, Mike) Jatcko of Litchfield, IL; Sons, Gary (wife, Christina) Long of Donnellson, IL, Larry (wife, Rosella) Long of Taylor Springs, IL, Ronnie Long (companion, Melody Jackson) of Litchfield, IL and Russell Long of Sorento, IL; 18 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Richard (wife, Gail) Loew of Edwardsville, IL; Sister, Sandy Garwood of Litchfield, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Darryl Bolen officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.Memorials are suggested to Diabetes Association or Shriners Hospital for Children.Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
