Connie Sue Underwood, 65 of Springfield passed away at 4:09 A.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her home.She was born on February 8, 1950 at Taylorville the daughter of Connie and Velma Marie (McKinney) Durbin. She was preceded in death by her father.Connie was a Revenue Tax Specialist for the Illinois Department of Revenue, retiring in August 2011 after 26 years of service. She was a member of Koke Mill Christian Church in Springfield. Survivors: Daughter, Rochelle (Ross) Hewitt of O'Fallon, MO; Sons, Daniel (Kathryn) Underwood of Chatham, IL, Ryan Underwood of Taylorville, IL and Aaron (Jacqui) Underwood of Ft. Collins, CO; Grandchildren, Nate Underwood, Mathew Underwood, Ross Hewitt, Reghan Hewitt, Rachel Hewitt, Kaiya Underwood and Gianna Underwood; Mother, Velma Marie Durbin of Morrisonville, IL; Sisters, Carol Mae Durbin, Roseann (Arlin) Olinger and Kathy Durbin all of Morrisonville, IL and Peggy Jo (Jerry) Anderson of Butler, IL; Her pet companion, Peaches; Several Nieces and Nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Rev.
