Ruth was one of my favorite people of all time. I did her hair for several years and I was just thinking about her last week. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing but I know she's in a much better place. My deepest condolences go out to her family.

I worked with Ruth at St. Albans for many years. My fondest memories are when she would invite me to the kitchen during the early morning hours for a fresh piece of pie or cake. Yummmmmm! RIP my friend.

My Dearest Moms, As you know I will always love you as a Mom since you were like my second Mother, you were there when I came into this world and I tried to be with you until the end of your time here. Now you are with all the loved ones that went before you and I know you are happy now even if you did leave many behind that love you. I will never forget all of the things we did together when we were younger and as we both aged slightly. I love you Moms.

I have known Ruth McCoy for well over fifty years. She was a kind, caring, thoughtful person, a good neighbor, and a pillar of the Fairlawn Methodist Church. I will never forget the strong personal relationship she had with my late mother, Georgia. They visited frequently in their senior years, often held hands, smiled together and reminisced about times gone past. The devoted church she left behind will miss her presence.

Ruth was a wonderful lady that brought smiles to my dad and father-in-law face Sherman Smith. It was great getting to know this fine and caring lady, and she will be missed in so many ways. Love you Ruth
