Loren V. "Pete" Bethard, 86 of Morrisonville passed away at 6:55 PM on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Taylorville Care Center.He was born on November 13, 1928 at Morrisonville the son of Loid and Norma (Hill) Bethard. Pete married Betty Wilson on December 31, 1949 at Morrisonville; she preceded him in death on April 6, 1988. He was also preceded in death by his parents; Grandson, Ryan Bethard; Brothers, Robert Bethard and Billy Wayne Bethard; Sisters, Evelyn Kramer and Helen Bethard.Pete was a lifelong farmer. He owned and operated W.H. Kent Trucking in Morrisonville. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville and the Christian County Farm Bureau. Survivors: Daughter, Kim (husband, Dennis) Millburg of Morrisonville, IL; Sons, Mike (wife, Sue) Bethard, Steve (wife, Jinny) Bethard and Phil (wife, Susan) Bethard all of Morrisonville, IL; 11 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Don (wife, LaVonne) Bethard of Morrisonville, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.A private family graveside service will be held at Morrisonville Cemetery.Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
