Eric L. Bost

Eric Lane Bost, 64 of Taylorville passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 after a sudden illness.Eric was born on January 24, 1951 in Springfield the son of Marvin S. and June E. (Billiter) Bost. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Larry Bost; Grandparents, Dwight and Alice Bost and Arthur and Lizzie Billiter.Eric was a 1969 graduate of Morrisonville High School and has been a resident of Taylorville since 1999. Eric was an avid motorcyclist and in his earlier years worked on his family's farm. He also worked in the orchards of Washington, on the boats in the Gulf of Mexico and in the fields of New Mexico.Eric is survived by his daughter, Gretchen Ray; grandson, John Ray; sister, Marla Bost; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.
