I always respected Kris for her ability to find something to laugh about in all the trials of life. My enduring hope is that joy will find a way this families daily life through the grief process. I know Kris would be smiling also. God Bless and Keep you all.

Thank-you Aunt Dottie. You always make me smile to talk to you so kind and thoughtful. I will never forget the fun I had when Mom & Dad took me to Texas in the RV that year. You made a great dinner and we went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards I think I bought a watch for my collection that I wore in the pool by accident and ruined it when we got home lol. I think it's a riot Uncle Eddie called me your boyfriend lol. I hung up the phone thinking hey I don't mind that title at all.

Age 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 after a 20 year battle with heart disease. Even with this she still lead a full and happy life. Kristine was born October 6, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Russell and Carol (Eiferle) Sleep. A Lansing resident all of her life, Kris enjoyed going to the casino and traveling in her motor home with her husband, "Norm" and family. Kris loved the holidays and the family traditions that went with that. During those times her house was always buzzing with activity and family love. A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, sister in law and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Kris is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Don "Norm"; children, Charlene (James) Root, Judy Joppie, Shaun Cullimore and Amanda Cullimore; sister, Judy (David) Schultz; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kameron, Megan and Erin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in laws and friends. A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, February 12, 2016, 1:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel with Chaplain Steve Ezop officiating. Interment will follow in Delta Center Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in memory of Kris.
