We have so many memories of Gary from working at Sorento Salvage for many years, and for being a close friend of our family. He could always make me laugh.

Mr. Gary Turner, 63, of Keyesport, IL formerly of Sorento, IL died Monday, February 15, 2016 at 8:58 P.M. in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.He was born in Litchfield, IL June 24, 1952 the son of Robert L. and Norma (Schweppe) Turner. He married Nina Grandoni in New Douglas and she preceded him in death.Mr. Turner worked as a truck driver. He loved fishing and being outdoors.Surviving are: his father Robert L. Turner of Sorento, IL 2 brothers Keith Turner of FL and Joel Turner of Taylor Springs, IL 4 sisters Penny Casey of Panama, IL Debra Jett of Sorento, IL Kathy Atchison of Mulberry Grove, IL Mary Jane "Janie" Sugg of Sorento, IL along with several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is assisting the family with arrangements.
