Janet Marie Byers, 77, of Versailles, died Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born June 30, 1938 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Alan Mueller and the late Marie Janicki Mueller Zugell. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Donald Lewis Byers Sr, daughter Sherry (Edward) Gasdick of Kissimmee, FL, and son Donald Lewis Byers Jr, of Versailles, grandchildren Kristen Marie Gasdick, Edward Gasdick Jr, Carl Alan Byers Jr, and Joshua Donald Byers, great-granddaughter Kayley Lynn Moon, brothers Robert (Anna) Mueller of Pittsburgh, Dale (Joyce) Mueller of Leeper, and Donald (Carol) Mueller of New Braunfels, TX, sister Diane (Greg) Drews and step-father Frank Zugell of North Tonawanda, NY, nieces, nephews and her dogs, Ozzy and Bugsy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Jean Byers, son, Carl Alan Byers Sr, granddaughter Ashley Nicole Byers, and brother Glenn Mueller. Friends are welcome Friday, April 22 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (Drew J. Gilbert, Funeral Director).
