Janet's Obituary

Janet Ann Finch was born December 7, 1963 in Vincennes, Indiana, the first of four children to John Robert and Glenda Kay Bedford. Janet passed away at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was surrounded by her family. She was an information systems analyst for Good Samaritan Hospital. She also was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a REP substitute teacher, and a Little Learners teacher.Janet is survived by her loving husband, William Finch, of Vincennes; her two children, Isabella and Austin. She is also survived by mother, Glenda Bedford, of Vincennes; her sister, Betsy Glaser, of Noblesville; her brother, Scott Bedford, of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Marion Finch, of Vincennes; sister and brother-in-laws, Cathy (Steve) Claycomb, of Indianapolis, Patricia Finch, of Paris, IL, Mary Konig and companion, Forest, of Loogootee, Joe (Janie) Finch of Vincennes, Marie (John) Hibner, of Indianapolis, and Martha (John) Anderson of Vincennes; and numerous nieces and nephews.Janet is preceded in death by her brother, John Max Bedford; and father, John Robert Bedford.The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Vigil service beginning at 6:45PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Janet's memory be to Good Samaritan Hospice or Stand Up to Cancer, PO Box 843721, Los Angeles, CA 90084-3721 or www.standup2cancer.org.
