I worked with Peg about 100 years ago @ Murphy's in Olympia. She was a dear sweet person & always made me laugh. Always fixed her hair before she left work so she would look good for "hubby". I will miss you Peg

Margaret E. "Peg" Obley, 80, of Versailles, died Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born March 23, 1936 in Everson and was the daughter of the late Percy O. and Margaret I. Showman Harshman. She was the wife of the late Samuel B. Obley, Jr. who died July 14, 1990. Peg was a member of the Boston United Methodist Church and was retired from the former Olympia G.C. Murphy Co. She is survived by her sons, David (Cindy) Obley of Versailles and James Obley of North Versailles, daughter, Penny Kugler of Versailles, sisters, Gail Wall and June Lowry of Versailles, grandchildren, Mike (Katie), Brandon and Dustin Obley, Nicole (Dan) Ellingsen, and Kaitlyn Kugler, great-grandchildren, Noah, Kendall and Bryce Obley, and Carly, Abby and Shane Ellingsen, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles "Chuck" and Robert "Bob" Harshman. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8, Wednesday, July 20 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412-751-5000) Drew J.
