Leroy McKinney

W. Leroy McKinney, 81 of Taylorville formerly of Palmer passed away at 1:10 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Prairie Rose Care Center in Pana.He was born on June 27, 1935 at Christian County the son of Frank William and Lillie Mae (Skinner) McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents.Leroy was employed for many years at area grain elevators. He was a US Army veteran.Survivors include: Daughter, Debbie Halbert of Indiana; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Marie Durbin of Morrisonville, IL and Linda Bonacorsi of Taylorville, IL; Brother, Charles (wife, Norma) McKinney of Morrisonville, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Burial will be held at a later date.Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
