Barbara, I hope you are at peace now. When I was growing up you always were warm, happy to be with me even though I was ten years younger and probably a pest, and, above all, kind. We exchanged Christmas cards for many years after we moved to CA and you always asked and cared about my family. I will miss you and your wonderful giving nature. Barbara's Obituary
Barbara A. Cain, 86 of Sorento passed away at 4:25 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her home.She was born on June 9, 1930 at St. Louis, MO the daughter of John and Roberta (Leach) Young. She married Robert A. Cain on July 14, 1949 at Blytheville, AR; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, John W. Young and Ronald L. Young.Barbara was a homemaker. She attended the Sorento Baptist Church and was a longtime volunteer at the Sorento Food Pantry.She is survived by: 3 daughters, Nadine Hatfield, Mary Ellen Woods and Fran Rickman; 1 son, Gene Cain; Several grandchildren; Sister, Shirley Hon; Brother, Robert Young; Several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Grove Cemetery. Visitation wil be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
