Not sure what to say?

Condolences to the Holthus family from your former neighbors, the Hunts. John and Janet are sitting here in California remembering many wonderful times with Floss and Burt... She was a light to so many of us and will never be forgotten. Love to you all.

Scott and I always felt so blessed to have such special next door neighbors. Burt, you and Floss always exemplified the very best.... You were wonderful role models for us, and for our children. We wish you peace at this difficult time.

I wanted to express my sincere sympathy to all of you with the loss of your dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Your family has always be very special to our family. Kirk always had very fond memories of all the times that your families spent together, as do I. Floss was one of those people that lived her life in such a way that made a difference in many people's lives. I always enjoyed her interesting stories and her lovely laugh. She was such a gracious hostess. Her recipe for Sweet...

Just wanted to express my condolences to Doug & family.

Lisa Ball (one of Doug's legal assistants from 20 years ago).

Remembering the many times Pastor Mann and I worked on LWML together with Florence. Also, the winter of 2008, I had lunch with you at your home in FL with you. My heart is with all of you. Praise God as we celebrate Florence's life in Jesus her Savior. We look forward to seeing her in heaven.

Dear Uncle Bus and the whole Holthus family,

I wish I could be there in person to join the gathering in memory of a life so well lived. Aunt Florence was such a kind and gentle presence in my life growing up. It was always a treat when we got to see your family, and she was a big part of that. I'll remember her for her sweet and easy laugh, the twinkle in her eye, and the genuineness she brought to each and every interaction. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Florence will be so dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Her warmth and her generous spirit were always a joy to me and my wife Kathleen. Uncle Bus, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and with you too, Gregg, Jim and Doug. May you find peace in knowing that she is now in a place of everlasting joy.
