Tina's Obituary

STOREY, Ms. Tina- age 51, of Flint, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 24, 2016 with a 10:00 am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.  Rev. Annie R. Duncan officiating.  Calling hours for Ms. Storey are 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel.Ms. Tina Lynn Storey was called home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2016.  She began her life's journey in Flint, MI on September 29, 1965.  Tina was the fourth oldest of five girls born to Willie J. Storey of Fairfield, AL and Maxine G. Storey of Birmingham, AL.  She attended Flint Community Schools and graduated from Northwestern High School.  Tina continued her education at Mott Community College and Baker College where she was trained as a nursing assistant.  Tina enjoyed sewing, interior decorating, shopping and spending time with her family.Ms. Tina Lynn Storey leaves in God's care: dear mother, Maxine G. Storey; one daughter, Diamond (Nuna) Storey of Ypsilanti, MI; 4 sisters, Stephanie (Kenneth) Steward of Moultrie, GA, Arlene Groom of Birmingham, AL, Sheryl Luttrell of MD and Adrienne Burgan of Macon, GA; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Samuel Marshall, Vic Damone Jernigan, Teresa Legette, Cynthia Worthy and Kenya Willingham.Ms. Storey was preceded in death by: father, Willie J. Storey and nephew, Antonio C. Storey.The family would like to express special thanks to Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Amicae and numerous friends.
