Russell A. "Tony" Stockon

Russell A. "Tony" Stockon, 69 of Palmer passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home.He was born on May 23, 1947 at Taylorville the son of Kenneth Russell and Flora Lea (Rash) Stockon. Tony married Cindy Yorty in October 1982 at Taylorville. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Darrell Stockon and a grandson, Adam.Tony was employed in the field of concrete demolition with Bud's Concrete Removal and was also self employed. He enjoyed woodworking, leatherworking, crafts and primitive camp ins. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran.Survivors include: His wife, Cindy Stockon of Palmer, IL; Daughters, Christina Taylor of Taylorville, IL and Desiree` Stockon of Palmer, IL; Sons, David (Andrea) Stockon of Oregon, Brian Stockon of Palmer, IL, Dustin (Amanda) Stockon and Nathan (Traci) Stockon both of Taylorville, IL; 10 Grandchildren, Richard, Dalton, Cody and Anna Taylor, Zach, Lyris, Skyler, Ember, Kadyn and Aria Stockon; 2 Great Grandchildren, Paisley Rush and Adrien Taylor; Brother, Ronald (Tammy) Stockon of Stonington, IL; Sister, Gwendolyn Fleigle of Taylorville, IL; Several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Tony will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with Rev. Joe Bowman officiating. Interment will be in Anderson Cemetery, Palmer.Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
