Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Man I really miss and love you we been friends for so long without a slow moment. I know your looking down on us, and we shall meet again.

I just heard that you are gone and my heart is heavy with sadness but my spirit is full of joy because you are with Jesus. When I think of you and Eric I only have happy joyous memories. I will miss the gathering of all you guys at my house over the years whether for a fish fry or just chilling out. I will forever be grateful and thankful for how you looked out for me during my hardest time. I love you Reggie. Your second mom...

I miss you so much. I'm going to miss your smile, your laughter, your jokes. You were my only brother and my heart will ache forever. No one will understand our bond and I only can take comfort in the fact that we will meet again. I know you are watching over us and I will do my best to continue to be there for Christian and tell him all the beautiful things about you. Love, your sister Shonda

Prayers go out to the family for the lost of a great son, brother, nephew, father, and friend. I'm going to miss Reggie from the group of friends I met him in. He always treated me like a little sister. The jokes, the video games we talked about and exchanged gamer tips, the shows we had discussions about.....he always saw the best in me. He is truly loved and will never be forgotten.

Words can't express the bond that we shared. All the memories and laughs. All the lessons you taught me. Not only were you my big cousin, but you were my friend / big brother. I never thought that I would be saying good bye so soon. You will forever live on in my heart. Watch over the family and know that your love and spirit will continue to live on through all of us. Until we meet again, may you Rest In Peace. Love always

So sorry to hear that Reggie , had passed . Always known him from Trade winds , friend of my sons Derrick and Kentwan Boone. He always had a pleasant smile and nice attitude. A good man will be missed.

Mr. Reginald's Obituaries

Mr. Reginald Eric Grazier, 39, went to eternal rest on February 6, 2017.

"Reg"or Reggie" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was born in Washington D.C. On April 11, 1977 to Otis and Gloria Jarrett Grazier.  Reg grew up in Hampton, VA and graduated from Bethel High School in 1995 where he enjoyed playing the trumpet in the school band. Years later, Reg was known to pull out his trumpet and play one of his favorite songs, the theme to "Mo Better Blues".  After graduating from Bethel, Reg enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1995 until 1999.

Reggie worked as a Federal contractor as an Electrical Designer for several companies for the past 12 years. He took pride in his career and was recognized over the years for his superior work.  Reggie was an avid sports fan especially basketball (San Antonio Spurs) and football  (Philadelphia Eagles).  Reggie also enjoyed playing video games and loved Star Trek and was a self described "Trekkie."   Reggie is survived by his wife, Melanie, his beloved son, Christian Xavier Grazier (mother, Laurie Moore), his parents Otis Grazier of Elkton, MD and Gloria Jarrett Gray (Earl) of Jacksonville, FL his sister Shonda Grazier Goodwin (Craig), and his nephew Julian Goodwin of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Pearl Caldwell (Frank), his uncles George Jarrett (Lisa) and Norman Jarrett Jr., his aunts Carolyn Jarrett and Sharon Mitchell (Henry) all of Newport News, VA. His special cousins Rashaud Jones, Monica Mitchell and Doryce Moore. His stepson Tyshawn Fripp and a host of step-siblings cousins, friends, and extended family.  Devoted friends include Jermaine Brown, Deshawn Turner, Devaughn Hall, Derrick Boone, Shawn Williams, Kentwan Boone, and Andy Longchamp. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norman Jarrett, and his paternal grandmother, Pauline Grazier. Reg was a good hearted man and extremely loyal.  He was smart and always one you could go to for advice. He was fiercely protective over those he loved and was good at anything he put his mind to.  He loved his son immensely and their father-son relationship was beautiful. The joy of his life was Christian and he was teaching him how to play chess which they both enjoyed.  Reggie and Christian also shared a love of watching wrestling and playing wrestling video games. They would also go to wrestling shows which Christian loved.

He was always there with a quick laugh and his good natured impressions of people were hilarious. Reg was one a kind and so charming.  He was smooth and suave, so much so some of his friends referred to him as "Rico Suave" or "Pretty Ricky".  Reggie was also funny with a big personality and you knew it was about to be an adventure when he was around.  Reggie also had a softer side where he was sensitive, reflective, and spiritual.   He will be forever missed and loved by those who knew him.
