My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.

Services for Carl H. Beck, 89, Norfolk, will be at a later date. He passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk. As his wishes, Carl donated his body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
Carl Henry was born February 17, 1928 in Tilden, Nebraska the son of Henry and Gesine (Buddee) Beckerbauer. He attended Tilden High School. Carl served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948. Following his military service, he worked as a plumber for various companies throughout the United States. Carl enjoyed golfing and hunting. As an artist, he appreciated working with various types of feathers in his art creations. He was an avid reader of the Omaha World Herald. Carl was a fan of the great Richie Ashburn, “The Tilden Flash.”
He is survived by his sister Ruth Sprouse of Omaha and nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife Maria, parents, and siblings Franz Beckerbauer, Margaret Johnson, Laura Shoemaker, Rick Beckerbauer and Marie Opland.
