Darwin A Moore

Funeral services for Darwin A. Moore, 63, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norfolk: Reverend Dan Andrews will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Norfolk. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals with a rosary at 7.            

            Darwin            died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Faith Regional Health Services.

            Darwin was born February 12, 1954 in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Dana and Dortha (Huston) Moore. He graduated from Rock County High School in Bassett, NE. He attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk.

            Darwin Married Theresa Carp on January 21, 1980 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norfolk. Darwin was a hog buyer for Tyson Foods retiring in 2015.

            Darwin enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, trap shooting and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Most of all Darwin loved spending time with his family.

            Darwin is survived by his wife Theresa, daughter Sarah Moore and Stewart Moss and their son, Garett all of Sunray, TX, sons Austin Moore, Eric and Amber Moore all of Norfolk, a brother Ray and Pat Moore, a nephew Dana Moore and a niece Christina D’Lallo.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Todd Moore and a sister Kathleen in infancy.
