Rick was a graduate of Charleston High School and was the self-employed owner of Consolidated Mechanicals, a successful plumbing, heating and air-conditioning business. Rick worked hard in order to provide for his family and considered his customers to be friends and treated them as such.
Rick was never at a loss for words and his sense of humor endeared him to all. He liked to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh as well. For Rick, his family was a priority! He was a member of the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) and shared his passion for old cars and going to car shows with his daughters. Family vacations were a requirement and Rick always made them enjoyable. His love for Disney prompted a membership to the Disney Vacation Club resulting in many trips to the Magic Kingdom and Disney Theme Parks as well as several memorable cruises.
All will remember Rick’s signature smile - that might be described as just a little bit goofy. Friends will remember and appreciate his friendship and simple approach to life. Strangers will be grateful for his organ and tissue donation that will enhance their lives. Jennifer, Taylor and Jordyn will forever treasure and hold dear their many memories of this wonderful husband and father who loved them dearly.
