CHARLESTON, IL – Heaven gained another angel as Brandy Kay Geiger, age 37 of Charleston and formerly of Teutopolis, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Adams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. There will be no funeral service. It is requested that thoughtful donations in her honor be made to (CTF) Charleston Transitional Facility. Gifts may be left at the visitation or mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920.
Brandy was born September 20, 1980 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Billy Geiger and Connie Bergfeld. She is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Connie Bergfeld and stepfather, Glen Hammonds of Lincoln, Illinois; two brothers, Clayton Yantis also of Lincoln and James Yantis and wife Ashley of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; her nieces Hailey and Hannah Yantis and nephews, Camden and Eli Yantis. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Brandy attended the Institute of LogoPedics in Wichita, Kansas. McDonalds was her favorite place to eat and she enjoyed listening to upbeat music. She lovingly cared for her many baby dolls and being with family and friends made her happy.
