Velma Lorene Cutright, age 83, of rural Casey, IL passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born March 28, 1934 in Toledo, IL, the daughter of Leroy Murphy and Fern Ellen Oakley Murphy. On September 23, 1949 she married Charles Lee Cutright in Toledo, IL. He passed away on November 9, 2016.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Repp of Casey, IL; Cathy Parcel and husband Jerry of Martinsville, IL; Marsha Harms and husband Keith of Gifford, IL and Lisa Anderson and husband Kevin of Casey, IL; brother in law, Max Cutright of Ashmore, IL; sisters in law, Lela Hyland of Mattoon, IL and Elsie Dillier of Casey, IL; twelve grandsons, three granddaughters and twenty one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, Larry Murphy; sister, Joyce Ingram and son in law, David Repp .
Velma was a homemaker and devoted farm wife. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
