Sorry for your loss.I worked with Stan at Mid-Ill.Quarry for 11 years and hauled concrete to him when he worked at E.I.P. Stanley was a hard worker and a great man to work with,he was always in good humor. I will miss him .

I wanted to express my sympathy to you. Stanley and I rode the bus together and were neighbors growing up. I rode to basketball games with him and Steve and their parents in junior high.
I have many great memories of attending grade school, junior high and high school with him and riding the same school bus all those years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you had this time.

Stanley Burley "Stan" 's Obituary

Stanley Burley “Stan” Sharp, age 62, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:21 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. He was born April 3, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Dean M. Sharp and Esther Clara Oberhaus Sharp.

Survivors include his sons, Josh (Nicole) Sharp of Stillwater, OK and Jason (Jodi) Sharp of Casey, IL; twin brother, Steve (Janet) Sharp of Casey, IL and grandchildren, Averi, Liam, Baylor and Gunner Sharp. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stan was 1973 graduate of Casey High School. He was a plant operator for Mid Illinois Quarry in Casey, IL. He was a member of the Casey Masonic Lodge. Stan enjoyed woodworking, fishing and mushroom hunting. He attended the Moriah Church of God.

A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Lakins officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. Burial will be held at a later date in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL.
