Anita Nicole Skabialka Davis, age 9, of Apple Valley, CA, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2:51 p.m. in Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA.
Anita was born on June 5, 2008 in Fort Hood, TX, a daughter to James Dean Davis, Jr. and Heather Cathleen Skabialka. She attended 4th grade, enjoyed Tae Kwan Do, was a good student, didn't know a stranger and loved cooking. Loved drawing, painting, singing, dancing, animals and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her parents, James Dean Davis, Jr. and Heather Cathleen Skabialka of Apple Valley, CA; maternal grandparents, Dan and Michele Skabialka of Huntsville, AL; paternal grandparents, James and Carol Davis of Ashley, IL; maternal great-grandmother, Nadine LaHatte of New Zealand; four brothers, Dakota "Jake" Davis and James "Levi" Davis, both of Salem, IL, and Darien Skabialka Davis and Jeremy Skabialka Davis, both of Apple Valley, CA; a sister, Julianna Skabialka of Apple Valley, CA; three aunts, Sonja Skabialka, Cheryl Skabialka and Dana Libby; and four cousins, Christofer, Grace and Angelina Skabialka and Dalton Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Lou Davis.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with ???? officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the family of Anita Skabialka Davis.
