LaDonna Dean Fitch Henderson passed away on November 13, 2017 after living 92 wonderful years. Donna was born in Casey, IL on May 30, 1925 to Ralph Dean Fitch, Sr. and Edith V. Cook Fitch. She lived there until after high school graduation when she moved to Indianapolis, IN. She married Doyle Glen Henderson also of Casey on June 25, 1949. They had two children Rhonda (Richard) and Nina (Eric).
Donna worked at Naval Avionics, Fall Creek Elementary School and the Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center. The real joy of her life were her grandchildren Jared Hopwood, and Anna and Blanca Wright. She never tired of talking about her grandchildren, had photos of them all over her house and loved every minute she was able to spend with them.
Donna is survived by her two daughters and their families; two sisters, Erma Jean Devall and Ruth Fitch and one brother Ralph (Shirley) Fitch and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Doyle on May 31, 2002 and sisters, Denese Fitch, Ethelyn Pumphrey and Herschella Kreitlein.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Casey First Christian Church with Pastor Herschel Pumphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel Dell South Cemetery, Hazel Dell, IL. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at Casey First Christian Church, 200 SE Eighth St., Casey, IL.
