Russell Folden

Russell Folden, age 64, of Marion, IL, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:03 p.m. in Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL.

Russell was born on September 22, 1953 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Clarence C.”Junior” and Dixie (Phillips) Folden Jr. He was a coal miner and truck driver. Russell was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing and boating in the ocean and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his mother, Dixie Phillips of Pinckneyville, IL; one son, Corey Dale Folden of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Joanna Dawn Folden of Chicago, IL; one sister, Patti Ann Folden of Pinckneyville, IL; special friend, Julie Wright; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Cal and Murna Folden and Adam and Nellie Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
