I want to express my deepest sympathy to everyone who knew and loved Mary Jane. She was a very special lady and I am forever grateful that I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know and care for her. May she rest in peace.

Mary Jane Weatherford, age 89, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:04 a.m. in Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center, Pinckneyville, IL.
Mary Jane was born on October 26, 1928 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to John P. and Mary Jane (Mansker) Weatherford. She taught school for several years and was a homemaker. Mary Jane was a member of and very active in the Campbell Hill Baptist Church, Campbell Hill, IL.
Survivors include her brother, Robert “Bob” Weatherford of Pinckneyville, IL and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Howard Weatherford, John Weatherford and Frank Weatherford; a sister, Junabeth Brunson; and a nephew, Gary Weatherford.
Private family services will be held at Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL with Pastor Sam Higgerson officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Galum Presbyterian Cemetery.
