My heart and prayers go out to Ron's family. The world will be less without his presence. He was kind, honest and a true friend to those who knew him and accepted him as such. I was blessed to have counted him as friend. Good bye to you in this world Ron I hope to see you in that glorious place.

Ronald Lamar 's Obituary

Ronald Lamar Redman, age 61, of Casey, IL passed away at 9:54 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. He was born December 22, 1956 in Gary, IN, the son of Lamar Adrian Redman and Vera Jean Johnson Redman. On July 9, 2011 he married Julie Beth Hughes in Clark County, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Redman of Casey, IL; daughter, Stacey Peters (Jordan) of Greenup, IL; son, Ryan French (Melissa) of Garden City, GA and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harry, Larry and Wayne Redman.

Ron was a 1975 graduate of Casey High School. He was currently working as a body man for Patchett’s. He had previously worked for Bolin Enterprisers for many years. He was a member of Moriah Church of God. Ron was an avid car enthusiast and animal lover.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
