Zelta Aaron, age 81, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 5:21 a.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL.
Zelta was born on May 4, 1936 in Canton, MO, a daughter to Raymond and Verna (Farris) Patterson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, putting together puzzles, watching soap operas and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two daughters, Pauletta Aaron and Martha Aaron, both of Coulterville, IL; a brother, Sam Patterson of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Steven (Tammy) Jones, Nicholas (Madelyn) Jones, Victor Raymond Aaron and Travis Aaron; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents; a daughter, Susan Aaron; a brother, Leslie; and three sisters, Georgie, Joyce and Lucille.
Graveside services will be held at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Toby Aaron officiating.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
