Along with her parents, Peyton leaves behind her little brother Hayden; grandparents, Amy and Alvin Dixon of Humboldt, IL, David and Jennifer Schisler of St. Louis, MO, William and Sherri Mitchell and Rob Malone all of Charleston, IL; great-grandparents, Donna and Bart Kastl, Jamey Edwards, Patricia and Jr. Strong, Ron Fitzpatrick and John Malone all of Charleston, IL, Butch and Nancy Hallowell of Ashmore, IL, and William Mitchell Sr. of Mattoon, IL as well as several aunts, uncles and extended family. Peyton left her earthly home and is now in heaven with her cousins, Anthony Fitzpatrick and twins; Gavin and Parker Lewis; along with other grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Peyton was a strong and happy baby that didn’t let her illness keep her down. She was one tough fighter that proved to doctors time and time again that it wasn’t time for her to go. Having been told that she wouldn’t make it past her first year, Peyton was blessed with four years on earth with her loving family. She was able to enjoy the times she spent watching Netflix with her mom, or playing in the mud or snow with her dad. Although her brother was recently born, Peyton loved the time she got to spend with him as well. Peyton was a beautiful little girl on the inside and out and will be dearly miss by all of her family.
