I'am so sorry to hear Linda's passing. I wanted to go see her more at the nursing home but I wasn't able because I have pneumonia plus bronochial pneumonia. I'am so sorry for your loss may God surround you all with HIS nearness.

Linda Harvey, age 72, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:15 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL.
Linda was born on June 16, 1945 in Morris, IL, a daughter to Harry and Hazel (Phillips) Lavarier. On July 18, 1981, she married Orval Harvey at Coulterville Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2010. Linda retired after working 17 years at Gilster-Mary Lee. She was a member of the Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church, Eden, IL and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary for 35 years. In 1990 she was the first woman to run for and be elected to the town board and in 2017 she was elected citizen of the year. Linda loved playing bingo, babysitting kids and had a daycare for ten years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her eleven children. Linda was an awesome grandmother to her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Craig (Holly) Thompson of Murphysboro, IL and Andy (Jamie) Harvey of Tilden, IL; four daughters, Christina Hill of Colorado, Kathy (Mike) Cox of Coulterville, IL, Karen (John) Hlavaty of Coulterville, IL and Amy (Scott) Venus of Coulterville, IL; four step-daughters, Mary Harvey of Sparta, IL, Jerry Pair of Sparta, IL, Vickie Harvey of Sparta, IL and Sharon Anderson of Sparta, IL; four sisters, Sharon Howell of Tennessee, Dianna Lovelace of Tennessee, Noreen Hunt of Kingsberg, IL and Barb Groff of Indiana; thirty-four grandchildren; and forty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Dale Harvey; two brothers, Jack and Dennis Lavarier; and two sons-in-law, Dennis Partain and Andy Anderson
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Foster officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the family of Linda Harvey.
