Roger's Obituary

CHARLESTON, IL – Roger A. Lehmann, age 67 of Charleston and formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away while at home on Monday, March 5, 2018.  A Graveside Service honoring and celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston.  It is requested that thoughtful donations in his honor be made to Adams Funeral Chapel to assist the family with final expenses.  Gifts may be left at the graveside service or mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920.

Roger was born September 20, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the son of the late John and Charlotte Jean (Unger) Lehman.  He was married to Tanya Black and she preceded him death.  Roger is survived by a son, Dalton Lehmann of Charleston; Matt Rogers and Hunter Murphy whom he loved as sons; and a sister, Stacey Kitchen of Westville, Illinois.  Roger was also preceded by a brother, Bruce Reiss.

Roger was formerly employed with Trailmobile and Safety Storage, Inc., and a member of the former Charleston Fraternal Order of Eagles.  He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed watching NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing.  Roger’s kindness and endearing personality gained him the love and respect of many friends and his family.
