Carrie's Obituary

Carrie Millikin, age 86, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:50 a.m. in Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation, Pinckneyville, IL.

Carrie was born on January 5, 1932 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Charles and Jane (Bird) Uhe. On August 31, 1952, she married Donald L. Millikin in DuQuoin, IL and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1995. She was homemaker and a member of Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. Carrie enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (Jeannie) Millikin of Okawville, IL and Mike (Alicia) Millikin of Pinckneyville, IL; four sisters, Dorothy Uhe Smith of Pinckneyville, IL, Mary Uhe of Pinckneyville, IL, Betty Uhe of Pinckneyville, IL and Jeanne Smith of Sparta, IL; four grandchildren, Bettina Cox (Gabe Lewis), Kayla (Miles) Priebe, Jenna (Ruben) Pfau and Landon Millikin; four great-grandchildren, Naomi Lewis, and Easton, Anniston and Adaline Priebe; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Wilfred Uhe and Bob Uhe.

Funeral services will be held at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Loyd Shelton officiating. Interment will be in Holts Prairie Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Friends may call at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
