Well 6 years later dad here i am i couldn't stop thinking about you and well be like you when i'm older i want to be like you still and its tough to live with out you when i shot my first deer i couldn't stop thinking about you and when i shot at my biggest buck i couldn't stop thinking about how proud you'd be of me and it poped up and i jerked it instead of squeeze the the trigger and now i feel like your disapointed in me i want you to no i love you bigger than the sun. your son,Nathan...

Just head about your son and wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. No parent should have endure such sorrow. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Soar with the Angels,Nate. God holds you in his arms.

He will be greatly miss...our thoughts are with all of you.

Nathan Lee's Obituary

Nathan Lee Reynolds, age 34, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in rural Martinsville, IL. He was born January 17, 1984 in Paris, IL, the son of Steven Lee and Vickie Jean Hefner Reynolds.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Vickie Reynolds; children, Vada Lee and Nathan Lane Reynolds; brothers, Steven Keith Reynolds (Desirae) and Toby Ray Reynolds, all of Martinsville, IL; nephews and niece, Kayden Reynolds, Jilly Reynolds and Mason Reynolds, maternal grandmother, Janet Hefner of Marshall, IL; several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Lucille Reynolds and maternal grandfather, James Hefner.  

Nathan lived in the Martinsville area his entire life and attended Martinsville schools. He worked for his family in the oilfields. Nathan was an avid outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His children were the light of his life, he treasured the time he spent with them.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2018 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Brother Randy Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Monday evening at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
