Not sure what to say?

So sorry we were unable to attend Uncle Merle"s services today. I pray God gives you all comfort and peace. I love you all. Herschel

I can only recall meeting Merle one time. In 2010 I was honored to meet and have a short visit while he lived in Las Vegas.

Such a kind, gentle, intelligent, entertaining gentleman. I was happy Linda put his visit on our agenda for that trip.

My condolences to all family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences for Noel, Cindy, Joyce, and Grant back in here in Fort Worth. Words fail at this time.

I remember Merle very well as we were raised just across the pasture from Vallie and Fannie's farm. My oldest brother, Joe, was a friend of Merle's as well as my deceased husband, Norman Moore. I seen Merle a few years ago in the post office in Pinckneyville and recognized him right away. My brother, Bennie, my sister, Sally, and I are the only ones left of the Chapman kids. My heartfelt condolences to Merle's children, grandchildren and other relatives.
