Mary A.'s Obituary
Mary A. Jones, age 74, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 2:45 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, IL.
Mary was born on December 8, 1943 in Centralia, IL, a daughter to Elmer Jacob and Alma Charlotte (Meier) Gilter. On June 29, 1963, she married Ira Eric "Rick" Jones in St. Paul United Church of Christ, Nashville, IL. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2018. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL. She was a member of Senior Club. She loved crocheting, quilting, and crafting.
Survivors include her sister, Ann Hensley of Kirkwood, MO; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rick; a half-sister; a step-brother and step- sister.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Nashville, IL with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Senior Club.
