I've known Ric since I was about 9 or 10. He was always such a good guy! He will be missed! Fly high Ric!!

James Richard “Ric” Baker, age 70, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 5:20 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Ric was born on July 13, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL, a son to James Richard and Martha (Brooks) Baker. He married Judy Kay Harrell on July 23, 1994 in Sparta, IL, and she survives. Ric was of the Pentecostal faith and was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He loved motorcycles and was an avid rider. He rode with the Sparta American Legion riders, Vietnam Vets, Christian Motorcycle Club, and various others. Ric enjoyed life and besides riding motorcycles he loved fishing, camping and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Judy of Pinckneyville, IL; fourteen children, including Nicole Davis (Keith Kempfer), Joshua (Staisha) Harrell, Phillip Baker, and Kaycee (Ryan) Dickey; two brothers; and seventeen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Ric’s life will be held at a later date.
