Beth, where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling in at night.

Doug, just read of Beth's passing, at a loss for words,you and Beth's family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Beth's music and memory will live on by all who knew and loved her. K.O.T.F.

Another angel gone too soon Beth was the best neighbor someone could have

Beth was a beautiful person, Im saddened to hear of her passing. She had a kind and gentle heart. She will be missed. Praying for you Doug and for both of your families.

Beth A.'s Obituary

Beth Ann Clark, age 55, of Elkville, IL, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 5:45 p.m. in her home.Beth was born on July 26, 1963 in Fort Carson, CO, a daughter to Ernest Lee and Faye (Martin) Clifford. On December 21, 1979, she married Doug Clark in Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. She had worked as a real estate appraiser and was an accomplished musician and recording artist. She had recorded a tape and two cd’s and was the vocalist and keyboardist for the groups “Shades” and “Problem Child”. She was known as the “Rock and Roll Queen of Southern Illinois”. Beth loved being outdoors and loved her nieces, nephews and her dogs!

Survivors include her husband, Doug Clark of Elkville, IL; parents, Ernie and Faye Clifford of DuQuoin, IL; two sisters, Christina M. Mocaby of DuQuoin, IL and Ann Marie Huffman of Desoto, IL; two brothers-in-law, Art Clark of Evansville, IN and Charles Clark of Carbondale, IL; four nieces and nephews, Dr. Stephen P. (Julia Lynn) Hagan, Jennifer (Alan L.) Hagan-Kaiser, Nathan Lee Hagan and Jessica Faye Huffman; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one brother, Tyrone Clifford.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Stephen P. Hagan officiating. Interment will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, New Haven, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
