Mary Ann's Obituary

Mary Ann Mohr, age 81, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 4:53 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Emergency Room, Pinckneyville, IL.

Mary Ann was born on May 29, 1937 in Dongola, IL, a daughter to Roy and Theresa (Rendleman) Fuller. On December 17, 1954, she married Carl Mohr in Mississippi and he survives. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at Pinckneyville Community Hospital for several years and provided homecare for many people. She was baptized at and a member of Concord Baptist Church, Rice, IL. Mary Ann enjoyed water aerobics and always had a heart for and loved doing things for others like canning, quilting, making dolls and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of over 63 years, Carl Mohr of Pinckneyville, IL; five children, Carla (Jerry) Bruns of Pinckneyville, IL, Mark Mohr of Pinckneyville, IL, Randy (Laurie) Mohr of Nashville, IL, Sherry (Kevin) Johnson of Mary Esther, FL and Susan (Donnie) Dasher of Pinckneyville, IL; a sister, Doris Adams of Millstadt, IL; three brothers, Earl (Pat) Fuller of East Peoria, IL, Carl (Pat) Fuller of East Peoria, IL and Bill (Pat) Fuller of Washington, IL; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Mohr; and three brothers, Kenneth Fuller, Edward Fuller and Ronald Fuller.

A public visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. At 12:30 p.m. the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life luncheon at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL to which the public is invited.

A private family graveside service will be held with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
